Changes to the install doc. 3 Months ago
Hi Nick

When installing the shareware version I found a few instructions missing or needed changing.

Here they are:
File Attachment:
File Name: av_mod.txt
File Size: 1588

Hi

It's red faces time ->

You are quite right about the reference to fckeditor, in fact it shouldn't be in there at all! Please comment out or delete the line entirely from your code, as CineSound doesn't use fckeditor. I don't know how that got into the code, but am trying to find out. I've repackaged the free- and shareware versions so they don't contain that line now (the premium version did not contain it) - many thanks!

Regarding the other 'omissions' from the shareware version's documentation, none of those lines are required by the shareware or premium versions because all of those string constants are specific to CineSound only, and are therefore hardcoded into the CineSound files so that installation is easier for the user.

You can check this by looking in the functions/cs_av_data_access.php files (in admin or frontend). These files should NOT contain constants beginning with 'TABLE_' and therefore don't need the definitions set up in the database_tables.php file.

Thanks again for your time on this. Much appreciated.

Nick

Cheers.

I will remove the database tables comments from my code.

I still needed to to add the filenames and language ones into it to make the admin menu show the correct name. (It just showed up as BOX_TOOLS_CS_AV bewfore I did that)
