easyCommentz v1.0 PLUS for osCommerce allows your customers to ask questions and provide feedback about your products directly in the product information page.
Let your visitors add relevent content to your product pages whilst informing other customers about the various facets of your products. Comments can be attached to any osCommerce product page and a powerful administration component will let you quickly and easily add, edit and delete comments as required.

From this Javascript-driven control panel, you can adjust a wide variety of presentation settings. Changes are made instantly without needing to reload the admin page, and can be seen immediately in thestorefront.
Settings include the size and color of the comments area, the styling of text, the maximum length of user comments, permission levels for viewing and creating comments and a host of front-end user tools which can be switched on or off as required.
Adding a Comment from the Admin or Storefront...
Comments can be made via the store's product information page in the front end or via the easyCommentz admin panel in the back end.
From the admin panel, you can respond directly to user feedback either by sending an email or creating your own comment which will appear in the product information page.
HTML tags can be applied directly to your content for extra control over presentation. Tags added in this way will override the global style settings 'EasyCommentz System Settings' section for this individual comment.
The front end comment editor features a number of useful tools which can be turned on or off in the admin page. Depending on which features have been enabled in the easyCommentz admin panel, users can add a rating for the product, include smilies in their comment, include formatting and images in the comment and choose to receive email notifications about any future comments made about the product. sers who are not logged in will need to input the CAPTCHA code at the foot of the comment input box. Users can also include HTML markup in their comments for finer control over presentation.
A user's permission to view or create comments can be adjusted according to whether or not they are logged into their account.
Viewing, Editing or Deleting Comments in the Admin Section...
The 'View All Comments' section of the Admin component lets you order comments according to Product, Author and Date to allow you quick and easy access to the latest comments. From this list, administrators can delete comments or edit them to meet publishing standards. User email addresses are also accessible through the 'Edit Comment' dialoguem so you can respond to feedback via email if required.
Installation is as simple as it can be for this framework. Edit only 2 files, copy our files onto your server, add 2 database tables and you're ready. Total time: 10 minutes max.
