Feature Details

CineSound AV is the most complete multimedia rendering package available for online shopping carts. Its core functionality allows your video and audio files to be experienced by the largest possible number of visitors to your site by checking which multimedia player plugins are available on their browsers and supplying the appropriate embedded code for those players to render your file.

CineSound Players Setup Demonstration

You can upload separate files for each plugin to play and set common playback behaviours such as autostart, loop, show controls and hide on a per-clip basis. It is also possible to set plugin-specific behaviours for finer-grained control over playback as well as add captions above or below each clip.

With CineSound AV, you have complete freedom to place your audio or video clips anywhere in your store using the Position Manager, and determine groups of pages where the clip will play using the unique, intuitive and SEO-friendly URL substring system.

A context-sensitive online user guide is accessible from several points in the control panel, and several channels of support include a high-priority online support forum (responses within 6 hours) and support email ensuring that your video or audio content works flawlessly in almost all visitors' browsers.

Adding images to products is as easy as:

One
Defining Global Settings...
CineSound Global Settings

CineSound Flash Buttons Settings
One of the first decisions you will make concerns which media players you will support via CineSound. In the Global Settings box on the left, you can choose any combination of the 4 leading internet media players available today. You can also set default behaviours for the selected players including playback control display, looping, autostart, playback area size and even a default caption to use with any clip.

Want clip-specific settings? No problem! You can override these settings when creating any individual clip (see step 3, below).

Two
Setting Up the Required Position for the Clip...
CineSound Position Manager
Use the Position Manager to create new places in your website to render your valuable videos. After giving the new position a name, the system will generate a line of PHP which you will need to cut and paste into the required position in your store's php file. Add a touch of HTML to get the positioning of the code spot on, and you'll be well on the way to displaying video via any of the 4 supported players in that position. Once the code is pasted into the file, the Position Manager will detect if the code has been deployed in a programmatically reachable place and then you'll be able to associate the position with a movie clip. In this way, you can place video clips anywhere in your store - even inside infoboxes!

Three
...and Defining Clip-Specific Files and Player Settings.
CineSound Individual Content Settings This is the final step in creating an audio or video presentation for your store. You create a clip by giving it a name, uploading up to 4 files suitable for playback using up to 4 media players, and configuring settings to determine on which page(s) playback will occur. Pages used for playback are determined by supplying a URL substring of the required page(s), and the position within the page(s) depends on where you deployed the position code generated by the Position Manager. With such fine-grained control over playback positioning, you can quickly and easily update or switch your presentations around as required.
Here you can also override the Global Settings for any individual clip, so you can tailor appearance and playback behaviour to suit the rest of your page. For example, you could add a clip-specific caption above or below the clip as extra information, or provide ambient music in the background of your webpage by setting 'Hidden' to 'Yes'.

You can also Optionally Adjust Player-Specific Settings...

CineSound Real Player Settings
CineSound Quick Time Settings

CineSound Flash Settings

There are further vendor-specific settings that can be set for each player, which are particularly useful if you want to concentrate on supporting just one or two specific players. Most of these setting are to do with playback quality and aspect ratios, giving you more control over the finished presentation.
