Images not uploading - ERROR [paps.php on line 112 3 Years, 5 Months ago
I am getting the following error when uploading attribute images for an existing attribute (color).

Warning: move_uploaded_file(/hsphere/local/home/usadog/usadogshop.com/catalog/images/paps/1web_Ylo_T.jpg) [function.move-uploaded-file]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/hsphere/local/home/usadog/usadogshop.com/admin/paps.php on line 112

I'm new to osCommerce, and to Product Attribute Pictures, so any help would be very appreciated!!

Hello

Thanks for your query.

This problem arises because the folder which you created during the installation process in which to store uploaded PAPs files ('catalog/images/paps') has the wrong permissions configuration.

The way to change permissions on a file or folder varies depending on what server you are using:

APACHE - Using any FTP program, right-click on the 'paps' folder and select 'properties' or 'file attributes'. Then set properties to '755'(CHMOD)

WINDOWS - You will need to use the server's control panel. Right-click on the paps folder then use the Permissions Wizard to set read-write permissions for the server.

Hope this helps.
