Hi!

I was having some troubles installing CineSound Audio and Video V2.0 Plus on OS Commerce, but I could solve them and finished the installation.

One of the things that weren't working was the language stuff because I'm at México, so the browser changed OSCommerce interfase to Spanish, so CSAV didn't work. I had to copy the cs_av.php file from includes/languages/english to includes/languages/espanol.

Same problem with the admin titles of CSAV interfase. I had to copy the cs_av.php file from admin/includes/languages/english to language/includes/languages/espanol.

I added the lines requested in the files tools.php and index.php

CSAV works if the URL substring is set to index.php but doesn't work if I set the URL substring to products_id=16

Neither work if I set the URL substring to product_info as the CSAV guide tells me.

I have done some tests using English and Spanish languages as a client and none of them shows me the videoclip at the product info page.

I also did the tests using Mozilla Firefox 3.6.3 and Internet Explorer 8.0.6001

Is it neccesary to add some code to product_info.php file? Is it suppose to show me the video clips in the product info for each item without adding code to this file?

Thanks for that.

To put the video on different pages, you do indeed need to add a couple of lines of code to the PHP file (in this case product_info.php).

You need to go to Position Manager in CSAV admin first and create a new position. Call it 'product_info' or something like that.

Then copy the generated code into the product_info.php file where you want it to appear.

Then, when you set up your clip, you will be able to see 'product_info' in the 'Position' dropdown that you can choose.

Then the substring 'products_id=16' should work no problem.
